Sunflowers in the Back-Forty

Explore over 3 acres and 29 different varieties of sunflowers at Rowley’s Red Barn’s Back-Forty!  Come to take photos, pick flowers or just to enjoy their beauty… Our sunflower festival has something for everybody.  The sunflowers will be ready for your family fun on August 13th.  The Festival will run through the September 3rd.

Photographers

Our sunflowers are beautiful to photograph and make a fantastic background for family photos, senior photos, or for that perfect Instagram post. If you are looking for the perfect spot to take pictures, this is it! We allow you to arrange to have professional photographers come with you if you would like, we just ask that everyone pays admission. Additionally, we have old tractors and other props that you are welcome to use in your photos.

U-Cut Flowers

There is a part of the field that is designed for cutting flowers that you can take home and enjoy.

Other Activities

The sunflower field has moved to the Back-Forty where we have a few of our fall festival activities to have fun on while you enjoy the sunflowers. The giant slides and jumping pillows will all be available for your enjoyment.

What to do…

Our event will start at Rowley’s Red Barn.  We have pleanty of parking space if not in the main parking lot we have overflow parking to the south of The Barn.  After paying admission you will wait for the next shuttle wagon to take you to the back forty.  Shuttle wagons will run every 15 minutes.  A sunflower guide will point you in the right direction and provide you with clippers to cut your blooms.  We will also have ice cream and other concessions in the Back Forty.

All Paid Admission will receive one free bloom.
