Easter Egg Clues

Easter Egg Clues

Thank you for participating in our Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt! We thought this would be a fun way for kids to enjoy an egg hunt without the chaos of a traditional “grab-as-many-eggs-as-possible” style event. Here’s how it works:

Each participant will grab an Easter basket (baskets will be returned at the end).

Follow the clues to the locations where different eggs are hidden. Collect one egg from each spot. You should end up with six eggs, each a different color. The eggs do not contain treats or prizes and will be turned in at the end of the hunt so we can reuse them for other guests.

After all six eggs have been gathered, return to the table, turn in your basket and eggs, and retrieve your prize!

Here are the six clues that will lead you to the hiding spots around the Back 40:

  1. Where thrill meets breeze in cabled flight,
    Yellow eggs dodge your sight.

  2. Green eggs hide where bold letters shine,
Near the Back 40’s colorful, towering sign.

  3. Beneath bare branches where blossoms will soon lay,
Purple eggs rest until the cherries come to stay.

  4. By the wagon, weathered and worn by the trail,
Orange eggs nest where the wind tells a tale.

  5. Near the Deere that’s dusty and green with pride,
Pink eggs are tucked and trying to hide.

  6. Way up high where many children play,
Blue eggs are hidden—just inches away!
